Welcome to our newly created classroom blog. I am very excited to share with you what is happening in our kindergarten class and what events and activities are coming up. I will try to post each week, so please check in regularly.
This week we had a very special visit from the Alberton Fire Department as part of Fire Prevention Week.

                         Children were thrilled to see the new Firehouse Dog.

                         They were invited to participate in a "Name The Dog"

                         contest. The winner will receive their own stuffed fire

                         house dog.The children looked so cute in their very

                         own fire hats that they were given and had fun

                         coloring with their new coloring book and crayons.

                           the driver's seat.

Our field trip to Arlington Apple Orchard had to be rescheduled for Oct. 24th. Last week, the children participated in an apple-tasting survey. We tasted Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, and Granny Smith Apples. Check out the results below...

On this Thanksgiving Monday, as I reflect upon my many blessings, I am thankful for each and every child in the class and the families that they represent.
